Our Mission
More than a place to live, Rising Mountains is a place for seniors to flourish. Our most important job is to provide residents with the opportunity to enhance their lives physically, psychologically and socially. The satisfaction of our residents and their families, along with continuous improvement in all aspects of the services we provide, are always our goals.
When the time comes to determine how you and your loved one will spend their later years in life, you’ll have questions. For those seeking help and information, the people of Rising Mountains offer answers to the age-old question of growing old gracefully. Framing everything we do inside your vision for all the places you’d still like your life to go -as an individual, a couple, a family.
By listening to your needs, by understanding the life you want for yourself or your loved one we can customize a solution that puts a robust life within reach.
Growing older doesn’t mean the options for enjoying life have to shrink. Our philosophy is that aging should never keep us from living. You can expect our caring associates to be trusted partners, working with you to add the spice of life to your golden years.
Flathead Valley
The Flathead Valley offers both relaxation and a range of exciting cultural choices:
- 360-degree views of mountains and lakes
- One of North America’s premier national parks
- Recreation options for every age and ability
- Two nearby ski resorts
- Nine excellent golf courses
- Charming, historic small towns
- World-class medical facilities
The “Flathead,” as locals call the valley, lies just west of the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains, amid the Swan, Mission, Salish and Whitefish ranges of Northwest Montana. In the middle lies the blue jewel of Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi.
Flathead Lake is also among the cleanest large lakes – perfect for sailing, cruising, kayaking, swimming, and fishing for trophy-size trout, yellow perch and whitefish. In spring, the fluffy white blooms of the cherry orchards along the shorelines promise luscious fruit in July and August.
Wild Horse Island, Flathead Lake’s largest island, is a wildlife refuge for more than 75 species of birds along with deer, bighorn sheep, coyotes, mountain lions and bears.
A surprisingly mild climate invites you outside all year. Typical winter temperatures are in the 20s and 30s. Summer temperatures usually range from the 70s to low 90s.
